Mommy - Daddy BLOGS....

• Day One...today you will begin your blogging adventure by discussing the following in a post on YOUR BLOG!!!
• Describe in detail the development of the embryo from conception to 4 weeks gestation....this should include ALL changes to the embryo.
• Describe in detail all of the changes going on within Mom's body and any changes going on with Dad...this should be both physical and mental/emotional.
• What are some things a Mom/Dad should be thinking about doing...changing...etc. now that you have discovered you are pregnant?
• Day Two....today you are now 8 WEEKS pregnant...address the following in a post on your BLOG....
• Describe in detail the development of your baby from 4 - 8 weeks gestation.
• Describe in detail how Mom's body is changing.
• What are the odds of having TWINS or TRIPLETS...oh my!
• How do you choose a doctor/midwife...or can your baby be born at home?
• Create a list of Safety Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy.
• Day Three....today you chose a life card....please address the information on your card and post on your BLOG...
• Discuss in detail your feelings, concerns, and/or fears brought about by the information on the life card you chose.
• Also be sure to discuss options for parents who have miscarried their baby...or thought they were pregnant and are not!
• An idea here might be adoption...artificial insemination...there are a variety of options.
• Day Four...today you are 16 WEEKS pregnant....you need to address the following and complete the task listed below on your Blog and have for class on MONDAY - 2/7...
• You have turned in the tennis ball for a sock...you must use your creative abilities to turn this sock into a 16 week old fetus...whose weight and size are accurate...GOOD LUCK!
• You and your partner also chose a life card today...you must discuss in detail the ramifications of the life card on you, your spouse, and more importantly the unborn fetus.
• Finally you will need to create a time line of events in the development of the fetus from 8 to 16 weeks gestation.  Be very detailed in your time line.
• Day Five...today you are 24 WEEKS pregnant....you need to complete the following...
• You need to create a fetus that is 24 weeks gestation...you can be as creative as you like...but keep in mind that it is a developing fetus!  You also may take advantage of the following contest in class....for accuracy in weight and length of fetus and creativeness of design...the following will be awarded to the winners...
• 1st Prize...15 BONUS POINTS on quiz 
• 2nd Prize...10 BONUS POINTS on quiz
• 3rd Prize...5 BONUS POINTS on quiz
• You also need to respond to your life card by discussing in detail any and all information surrounding the situation you've chosen...and you also need to create a timeline of development for the fetus from 16 to 24 weeks.
